Kerrville to Fredericksburg, TX

I completed the "pre-ride" of the Coast-to-Coast journey in a wet, but safe way. The scenery on the ride from Kerrville was full of beautiful vineyards, ranches and exotic wildlife...who were behind fences!

Fredericksburg is a great town, full of shops, wine bars and beer pubs... plus more!

Overall, an easy day of cycling, smoother roads and the rain did not damper at all!

For the week, I completed 323.5 miles of the Southern Tier and am looking forward to the next 2,626.5 with the leadership of Dennis and the team at Cycle of Life Adventures!

The Why

I'm setting out to ride the 2,950 miles of the Southern Tier Cross-Country Bike Route, and with the fantastic support of Cycle of Life Adventures, I get to focus on the "why." For me, this ride is about truly seeing the USA at a human pace. It's a bucket list goal that represents a profound physical and mental challenge that has given me purpose as I invest in my wellness journey.As a servant business leader, I've spent a career putting others first, and this journey is a conscious step toward finding more balance—proving that it's possible to serve others while also pursuing personal goals. And, of course, it's about remembering to have fun and experience long-distance cycling in the biggest way imaginable. So, clip in and follow along!
